About the Low Voltage Rescue Course

Designed predominantly for electricians, this course provides an introduction to the rescue techniques and appropriate first aid for the management of accidental electrocution. 

Covering CPR, rescue from a live panel and burns management, this nationally accredited course is suitable for anyone working in a safety observer role. Or for those requiring switchboard rescue training to meet electrical licensing requirements.

This training complies with the most up-to-date guidelines in accordance with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC).

Complete some online learning & assessments at home, in your own time.


2.5 hours Hands-on, Practical Training

+45 min Online Learning & Assessments

Physical components of the course will still need to be assessed in the classroom setting.


All online learning MUST be successfully completed PRIOR to attending the face-to-face session.



Complete ALL practical & written learning / assessments over one full day, in class.


3.5 hours Hands-on, Practical Training

NO Online Learning & Assessments

All written & physical components of the course will be assessed in the classroom setting.


Student must attend FULL face-to-face session & successfully complete all assessments to gain certification.


Minimum Course Numbers

For group bookings and on-site training minimum course numbers (6+) must be met.

Entry Requirements

Prerequisite – This course has a prerequisite of HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Physical fitness – Participants must have the physical capacity to complete a practical demonstration of a simulated LV panel rescue.

Assessment Requirements

Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We are happy to reschedule your training, providing that you give us at least 24 hours’ notice.

Cancellations received with less than 24 hours’ notice will automatically receive a 25% re-booking fee payable at the time of rescheduling.

Failure to attend your training for any reason or rescheduling the training multiple times will also incur this re-booking fee regardless of notice period given. Please contact the office to organise this.

Please note that enrolment to this course is made in partnership with Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909. Please refer to the student handbook located on the RTO website allenstraining.com.au (https://allenstraining.com.au/students/student-handbook) for all details relating to rights and responsibilities including complaints and appeals.

Renewal Information

The Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) recommends that refresher training is done every 12 months for the HLTAID009 Provide CPR & UETTDRRF06 Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

If you have successfully completed your CPR training with us within 4 weeks of your booked first aid course, you may be eligible to shorten your in-class training session. Please speak with one of our friendly team members to discuss if this applies to you.

Unique Student Identifier (USI)

A USI is required by all participants who complete nationally recognised, accredited training.

Without this government issued code Action & Emergency will be unable to register your training or provide a certificate upon completion.
