What we are doing to make our training COVID Safe

The safety of every person attending our training  is of utmost importance and we are only holding classes in line with relevant Federal & State COVID-19 requirements & restrictions in place at the time.

Action & Emergency carries out Risk Assessments before any training session to ensure that all aspects of how we teach are as safe as they can possibly be.

As always, our strict infection control policies remain in place to keep you safe and we are registered as a COVID Safe business!

How can we help keep you safe?

FACE TO FACE CLASSES

1) Limiting our class sizes:

We are holding classes in-line with the allowed restrictions for each venue. Each learner will have sufficient space to demonstrate their physical assessment criteria in respect of the 1.5m physical distancing &  the 4 square meter rule.

2) Allocated seating:

Members of separate households will be seated at least 1.5m apart from each other.

3) Encouraging good hand hygiene & infection control measures:

We have hand sanitiser and alcohol wipes available for all participants to use.  Equipment sharing is limited and is thoroughly cleaned before and after use.

All of our classes are taught by experienced clinicians, who have a high regard for exceptional infection control measures and hand hygiene.

4) Modifying how we teach:

We are ensuring that we meet COVID-Safe regulations and guidelines.

We are making sure that no equipment is shared between members of separate households, and have taken steps to teach in ways that remove interaction with other participants.

“Breaths” during CPR have been adapted to comply with infection control policies during this time. The use of faceshields on manikins is non- negotiable.

5) Complying with regulations:

We are only holding classes in line with all relevant Federal & State requirements in place at the time.

We are guided by:
